Concrete Superintendent

The Concrete Superintendent will oversee all aspects of concrete construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with quality standards. This role is based in Gainesville and requires expertise in construction and leadership to guide teams effectively.

Description

• Supervise and manage daily on-site operations of concrete construction projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards at all times.
• Oversee the scheduling and delegation of tasks to the construction crew.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to management as needed.
• Resolve on-site issues and adapt plans to address challenges effectively.
• Conduct inspections to ensure that work meets specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities and material usage.

Profile

A successful Concrete Superintendent should have:

• Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
• Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
• Seeking someone with a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.
• In depth knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.
• Knows how to lead people and drive results for the overall project success.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering strongly preferred
