    Position Summary
    is seeking a Concrete Superintendent to lead field execution for concrete scopes, with a strong emphasis on structural concrete.
    This is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for driving safe, predictable, and high-quality concrete production from mobilization through closeout.
    The Concrete Superintendent works closely with project managers, field crews, subcontractors, and inspectors and is ultimately accountable for turning plans into clean, efficient field execution.
    Key Responsibilities
    Structural Concrete Execution & Production

    • Lead field operations for structural concrete including foundations, footings, grade beams, walls, columns, elevated slabs, and suspended systems
    • Plan and manage full pour cycles including forming, rebar placement, embeds, anchor bolts, sleeves, and pre-pour readiness
    • Ensure proper sequencing of work including formwork, reinforcement, inspections, and placement
    • Coordinate layout, elevations, and tolerances to meet project specifications

    Planning, Scheduling & Coordination

    • Drive short-term and mid-range planning including daily plans, 2-week lookaheads, and 6-week forecasts
    • Coordinate Client, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maintain production flow
    • Identify and remove constraints ahead of pours (materials, inspections, access, embeds, etc.)
    • Work closely with project management to align schedule, budget, and execution strategy

    Quality Control & Inspection Readiness

    • Enforce strict pre-pour checklists and quality hold points
    • Verify lines, grades, elevations, rebar placement, embed accuracy, and form integrity
    • Ensure compliance with specifications for placement, finishing, curing, and weather conditions
    • Coordinate with testing agencies and inspectors to pass inspections the first time

    Safety Leadership

    • Lead by example in enforcing Aspen's safety culture and expectations
    • Conduct JHAs, daily tailgates, and site safety coordination
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and project-specific safety requirements
    • Proactively identify and mitigate jobsite risks

    Crew & Subcontractor Management

    • Lead and manage field crews and subcontractors including rebar, forming systems, pumps, and specialty trades
    • Hold all teams accountable to production goals, quality standards, and schedule commitments
    • Maintain clear communication and direction across all field personnel

    Reporting, Tracking & Communication

    • Track production, installed quantities, labor, and equipment utilization
    • Maintain accurate daily reports including progress, delays, and key issues
    • Coordinate with GCs, owners, inspectors, and other trades to maintain workflow and avoid rework
    • Escalate issues early and drive solutions

    Project Closeout

    • Support punch list completion, final inspections, and turnover documentation
    • Assist with as-builts, demobilization, and final project execution

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of field leadership experience in concrete construction (Foreman or Superintendent level)
    • Strong experience with structural concrete scopes in commercial, industrial, or civil projects
    • Deep understanding of:
      • Formwork systems and sequencing
      • Rebar placement and inspection readiness
      • Concrete placement, finishing, and curing practices
      • Elevation control, layout coordination, and tolerances
    • Ability to read and execute from plans, specifications, submittals, and RFIs
    • Proven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and production schedules
    • Strong communication skills and decisive field leadership
    • Valid driver's license and ability to work in Northern Nevada

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with complex structural or heavy civil concrete projects
    • Familiarity with batch plant coordination, pumps, testing agencies, and special inspections
    • OSHA 30 (or willingness to obtain)
    • Experience with field reporting and production tracking systems
