JOB TITLE:       Condiment Room Supervisor 
 
REPORTS TO: Director of Manufacturing 
 
FLSA STATUS:  Salary Exempt
 
POSITION VALUE STATEMENT: The Condiment Room Supervisor plays a critical role within The Broaster Company ensuring that all Food (dry blending) operations are performed to excellent Food Safety and Quality standards. This team member will provide operational leadership and direction to achieve daily goals and provide cost effective, accurate, and timely movement of goods for the Broaster Company.  This position works directly alongside the plant supervisors to grow our teams, culture, and continuous learning environment.  This role is hands on, working directly alongside your team while developing strategies for continuous improvement and growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 
  • Sets production schedules and create menus to coincide with deadlines 
    • Stage pallets with loads and proper recipes 
    • Accurate and timely recording of ingredients used, lbs., lot numbers etc. in each batch
    • Responsible for accuracy of order fulfillment
    • Unload inbound ingredients from trailers.
    • Complete all regulatory online paperwork at set intervals throughout the day.

 

  • Maintaining and reporting while maintaining food safety requirements 
    • Coordinating proper documentation with food science team
    • Conduct operational analysis and support lean manufacturing practices
    • Performs and documents routine preventative maintenance and daily maintenance as required.
    • Complies with laws and regulations
    • Provide oversight for maintenance and construction projects 
    • Repair log maintenance
    • Performs sanitation per established SSOP’s.

 

·         Food Regulations Monitoring
 
  • Inventory control management
  • Assist with quality assurance testing programs
  • Support adherence to FDA guidelines
  • Enforce GMP, Food Safety, HACCP and SQF programs with guidance from FSQA Specialist 

 

  • Lead and mentor personnel:
     
    • Direct, coach, and train workforce
  •  
    • Drive continuous improvement enhancements
  •  
    • 5S practices
  •  
    • Attend Meetings as required
  •  

 

·         Other duties as assigned
 
 

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • High School Diploma, GED or more than 3 years’ experience in food preparation leadership

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
 
·         Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
 
·         Mechanically inclined

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently and repeatedly.
  • Standing, walking, sitting, and bending for extended periods of time 
Compensation: $60,000.00 per year
