Summary: 
The Condition Monitoring Analyst monitors machine health and manages the repair of earthmoving fleets with the intent of achieving the lowest cost of ownership and highest uptime. Responsible for analyzing and assembling condition monitoring data and making the appropriate repair or operation recommendations.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Performs condition monitoring on customer equipment which includes reviewing Scheduled Oil Samples (SOS), inspections, and telematics data such as fault codes and utilization.
  • Communicates service recommendations to customers and emergency recommendations (high-level machine alerts).
  • Prepares a comprehensive report or recommendation of fleet health and utilization upon request and summarizes data analysis results in clear and easy-to-understand written reports and visualizations to be presented both internally and externally. 
  • Collaborates with all areas of the dealership to share information and utilize resources to resolve issues or perform services for the customer.
  • Uses software such as ServiceLink, Equipment Link, Microsoft, and Canam’s CMP to analyze, assemble data, and extract customer and equipment history.
  • Creates opportunities for Product Support Sales Representatives (PSSR), Inside Sales reps, and the ACAM by keeping Servicelink up to date. 
  • Performs all other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

  • An associate’s degree in place of experience. 
  • Three to five years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Three years of related equipment health experience is required. 
  • Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Ideal candidates should be highly detail-oriented.
  • Must be comfortable working in groups, and alone, as well as comfortable presenting.
  • Strong ability to multitask.

Physical Requirements:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible. Some travel may be required.
