This role requires a hands-on, execution-oriented HR leader with experience supporting operational workforces, including warehouse and driver populations, in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Our client is a confidential company in the distribution and operations sector seeking a hands-on HR Director to lead people strategy, talent, employee relations, and compliance for a large workforce.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, the HR Director will own the full people function, lead a team of HR professionals, and play a critical role in business operations.The successful candidate will be a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is equally comfortable developing strategy and executing day-to-day initiatives.
Progressive HR leadership experience in distribution, transportation, logistics, or manufacturing is required. Demonstrated experience overseeing workforce safety programs and ensuring compliance within an operational environment is a must.
This position is five days a week on-site in New York City with parking provided.
