Responsibilities:
Transform product requirements and engineering design intent into actionable product definition.
Utilize Product Lifecycle Management (GTCC) and Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) to deliver quality product definition globally.
Create and maintain project structure and Bill of Materials (BOM) for New Unit Requisitions and support Conversion, Modification, and Uprate (CMU) projects.
Generate and manage New Unit requisitions’ Flange to Flange (F2F) and Accessories project structures for Steam Turbine and Generator products.
Create and maintain Engineering BOM (EBOM) and Unit BOMs, and convert Manufacturing BOM (MBOM) to various ERP systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Support the Inquiry to Order (ITO) team in the successful OTR transition of project scope definition in the PLM GTCC tool after Order Release Meeting (ORM).
Collaborate with Project Engineering for timely handoff of requisition’s scope definition within the PLM tool to the OTR CM team.
Verify accurate generation of logical features per configuration options and Variant Configuration Central (VCC) logic within PLM tool, and resolve discrepancies with the ITO CM team.
Support Preliminary Bill of Materials (PBOM) review meetings for Steam Turbine and Generator products.
Validate standard parts selected through GBOM rules and support Configure to Order (CtO) efforts to maximize direct release percentage on requisition orders.
Assist manufacturing and sourcing teams in addressing concerns with BOM timeliness and conduct regular BOM integrity monitoring and reporting.
Execute CM’s role and responsibilities in Change Management processes.
Collaborate with other functions towards continuous improvement and Lean activities.
Ensure that CM activities follow company procedures, processes, and contractual requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
Experience in process use and development regarding product definition, BOM management, configuration management concepts, program/project scheduling, and field installation.
Preferred Skills:
Clear thinking, open to new ideas, and experience in implementing new tools and processes.
Dedication to company Code of Conduct and high level of integrity.
Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.
