Overview

SCCI is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst I to join our team! The successful candidate will participate on a team providing varied Software Configuration Management (CM) support to the AEGIS program. In this position, you would be responsible for providing Configuration/Change Control Boards (CCB) support including importing and exporting files. You will also be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of CM processes, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on program requirements. This position is an on-site position located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Configuration/Change Control Board (CCB) support
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of CM processes, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on program requirements
  • Generate database reports such as meeting agendas and minutes, and tracking action items and change requests.
  • Update and maintain database records and CCB Operating Procedures
  • Capture detailed technical comments while displaying to a live audience
  • Generate various status accounting reports, perform audits, and other CM duties
  • Generate/update milestone briefs/presentations and attend milestone meetings as required
  • Ensure electronic deliveries of related files and documentation occur on-time
  • Perform Quality Assurance tasks of configuration data to ensure accuracy

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret Security Clearance
  • High school diploma
  • Knowledge of CM principles, methods, and techniques
  • Two (2) - Four (4) years of CM experience
  • Proficient with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers and government customers
  • Ability to multi-task, work well independently and in a team environment
  • Dependable, self-starter with strong technical skills and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy
  • Good organizational, task tracking, and follow up skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience related to Aegis, weapons systems and/or Navy programs
  • Advanced Configuration Control Engineering Status System (ACCESS) experience
  • Experience with creating/manipulating Ad hoc reports and proficient in understanding Software Baselines
  • Previous experience in a classified work environment
  • Proven knowledge of formal change control processes: Class I changes, Class II changes, CCB experience/involvement
