Configuration Management Analyst

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst in Oxnard, CA for an approximately six-month onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will support configuration and data management activities across engineering and manufacturing programs, with responsibility for engineering documentation, change control, product data, and configuration records. The analyst will coordinate engineering changes and ensure product documentation remains accurate and aligned across technical and operational teams.

Required Skills

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in configuration management, document control, product lifecycle management, or a similar discipline.
• Working knowledge of configuration management principles, including baselines, change control, configuration identification, status accounting, and audits.
• Experience supporting or administering engineering change processes such as ECR, ECO, CR, or CI.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience with at least one PLM or configuration management system.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP or production systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing engineering and product data.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter.
• Experience with ENOVIA.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint.
• Experience with SAP.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and coordinate preparation and maintenance of engineering drawings, production specifications, schedules, and other project documentation.
• Review project and contract requirements to determine documentation needs throughout each phase of the program.
• Analyze proposed product design changes and determine their effect on overall products and systems.
• Establish and coordinate engineering change orders and supporting authorization documentation.
• Review released engineering change data and coordinate implementation across engineering, quality, manufacturing, support, and data-control teams.
• Maintain modification and configuration records for management control.
• Manage bills of materials and product configuration data within PLM and ERP/MRP systems.
• Support configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and audit activities.
• Coordinate multiple change packages and priorities while maintaining accurate product records.

Pay

• $79.39 per hour
