ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Our client is building next-generation nuclear technology and looking for a senior Configuration Management leader to own and establish their configuration management function. If you have deep configuration management experience and are looking to make a real impact, this might be the perfect opportunity for you!
Establish and maintain product baselines across hardware, software, and documentation
Chair configuration control boards and lead change control from intake through disposition
Build a reliable configuration source of truth across programs, resolving historical document conflicts along the way
Drive configuration audits, status accounting, and full lifecycle traceability
Develop digital tools and workflows to increase visibility and reduce manual effort
Work directly with engineering, manufacturing, and quality to ensure teams operate from correct, approved design information
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; other bachelor's degrees considered for candidates with the right experience
15+ years of dedicated configuration management experience in hardware and engineering CM
Background in a regulated industry such as nuclear, aerospace, or defense
Demonstrated experience writing and implementing CM plans and managing engineering baselines for physical products
Experience driving CM processes, standards, and governance at a program level
Teamcenter or comparable PLM experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with CM standards such as EIA-649, CMII, or NQA-1 a plus
