Release & Version Management
- Support software release and deployment activities across SaaS and embedded environments.
- Maintain configuration records, version histories, release documentation, and deployment information.
- Partner with Engineering, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure consistency across software builds and releases.
- Assist with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
SaaS & Embedded Systems Support
- Configure and support multi-tenant SaaS environments, including feature flags, application settings, and customer-specific configurations.
- Maintain configuration matrices and traceability across embedded and real-time systems.
- Support Linux-based embedded environments and enterprise technology platforms.
- Assist with cloud, on-premises, and hybrid system configurations.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Diagnose and resolve configuration-related issues across development and production environments.
- Support implementation and customer-facing teams with configuration troubleshooting.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for configuration and deployment issues.
- Collaborate with technical teams to identify and resolve environment inconsistencies.
Documentation & Change Control
- Develop and maintain configuration documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and technical procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of system changes and configuration baselines.
- Ensure configuration activities align with internal standards, security requirements, and established best practices.
- Support formal change-control and release-management processes.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve configuration, deployment, and release-management processes.
- Assist with automation initiatives that improve reliability and reduce manual configuration efforts.
- Recommend enhancements to tools, workflows, documentation, and configuration-management practices.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software configuration, systems administration, application support, release management, or a related technical role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working within a software development, SaaS, or technology environment.
- Familiarity with version-control systems such as Git and structured software release processes.
- Understanding of software deployment, change-control, and environment-management processes.
- Experience supporting enterprise, on-premises, cloud, or hybrid systems.
- Exposure to embedded or real-time systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple configurations and environments simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and customer-facing teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Familiarity with configuration-management or infrastructure automation tools.
- Basic scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
