Job Summary The Operations Systems Analyst is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of reports and/or extracts for individual client requests. Working with business leaders, clients, brokers, business subject matter experts and vendors to gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs. More information is available on our Benefits Guest Website: benefits.uhsguest.comQualifications Bachelor's degree in information technology or appropriate field or equivalent experience in multiple applications.Minimum 5 years' experience within the healthcare industry with at least 3 years prior experience in claims processing, computer operations, data analysis, data reporting, database management and creation of custom reports.Advanced knowledge of custom reporting tools and database management programs such as SQL, Microsoft Access and Impromptu.Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to lead a team to successful completion of projects.Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.Ability to communicate effectively with users, project teams, and management.Specific area of assignment may require knowledge of specific or multiple products and tools such as technical knowledge of software and hardware selection implementation and testing methodology and knowledge of support organizations, business and workflow process, and quality methods.Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.Excellent computer skills.Ability to be innovative, take initiative and exercise independent judgment.Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to present in front of groups ranging in size from 2 – 30 individuals.Ability to find and implement solutions to strengthen data reporting and analysis and to provide solid production support.General knowledge of and ability to apply continuous improvement techniques to information technology and related areas.Ability to work within general work objectives regarding projects and team goals.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to provide strong customer experience, communication and interpersonal skills with ability to facilitate conference calls with partners and clients as well as communicate to all levels of management.Possess skills and experience to accomplish responsibilities listed above.EEO Statement All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
