Job Title – Conflicts Analyst (New Business)Company Location – Remote, USA100% remote, required to visit office on an as-neededFull Time, Non-ExemptPay –DOEWork Schedule: 9AM to 5:30 PM or 9:30AM to 6 PM (Local Times)Job Summary of the Conflicts Analyst positionHiring a Conflicts Analyst to work under the Conflicts & New Business Intake Manager and in-house counsel reports on potential conflicts of interest relating to new matter intake.Responsibilities of the Conflicts Analyst position Analyze potential conflicts of interest for further review/resolution by in-house attorneys.Conduct factual research using internal and external resources, which may include researching corporate relationships (using LexisNexis, D&B, web publications and similar public databases) and discussions with attorneys and/or legal support staff to gather information and/or clarification regarding a party or matter.Perform conflicts research, database maintenance, data entry, and special projects, as needed.Respond to inquiries timely and effectively.Collaborate with attorneys in General Counsel to research, analyze, resolve conflicts of interest.Review client/matter intake forms and ensure completeness and accuracy.Review searches and reports for clients, matters, or new business, using the Firm’s conflicts and intake databases.Articulate in writing the key findings in the form of a summary or report.Monitor and address all incoming email to shared department email inbox for urgent requests.Requirements of the Conflicts Analyst position Bachelor’s degree preferred2+ years within conflicts administration, clearing/resolving conflicts at a mid-to-large law firmExperience with database search systems such as Elegrity (now iManage), E-VALUATE LegalKey, Intapp, or similar Conflicts administration softwareBasic typing skills (at least 40 wpm)Proficiency with Office Suite; Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to compile, review, filter, synthesize, and interpret Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and make decisions when appropriateDemonstrated ability to interpret and apply the rules of conduct regarding conflicts of interestStrong research skills using internal and external resources.Proven aptitude to quickly learn new applicationsOrganizational skills, including the ability to produce high quality work with minimal supervisionAbility to work effectively with attorneys and staff at all levelsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAble to go into the office on an as-needed basisAble to work overtime as neededUpdated resume is required for consideration.
