NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS). These experienced professionals provide administrative, scientific, technical, and operational support to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service through the Experienced Services Program (ESP). Positions listed here do not guarantee employment for any definite period. Enrollment in the Experienced Worker Programs administered by NEW Solutions is temporary. The enrollment relationship between NEW Solutions and the Enrollee is an ?at-will? relationship. This means that an Enrollee is free to terminate enrollment at any time during the enrollment period, and NEW Solutions and the Agency have the right to terminate the relationship with the Enrollee. Qualifications: in N/A OR BA/BS Degree in Wildlife Biology preferred with minimum additional experience of 10 year(s) in conservation planning. OR Previously completed training in N/A
Duties: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) is conducting conservation and NEPA planning to ensure compliance with the National Wildlife Refuge System Improvement Act (Improvement Act) and internal Service policy. These planning efforts will occur within the Service?s Mountain Prairie region.
