Requirements
Required: Experience using Peachtree Accounting Software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
Responsibilities
Assist with payroll processing and maintain payroll records
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts
Review financial transactions for accuracy and proper coding
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
Maintain organized accounting records and financial files
Assist with audits by providing requested financial information
Support compliance with company policies, tax requirements, quarterly reporting, and accounting procedures
Set up and maintain vendor and contractor information, including accurate 1099 records
Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned
