Construction Accounting ManagerPosition SummaryWe are looking for a highly organized Accounting Manager with experience in construction accounting. The ideal candidate must be able to manage the day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accurate billing, job costing, and compliance with owner and subcontractor requirements.Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit lien releases
• Process subcontractor pay applications
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Job costing
• Monthly billing
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Payroll processing and payroll reporting
• Track change orders
• Monitor project budgets and costs
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Prepare financial reports for ownership
• Maintain vendor files, W-9s, insurance certificates, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate with project managers and estimators

Qualifications Required

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Construction accounting experience
• Experience processing owner pay applications
• Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable background
• Experience with lien waivers and releases
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work independently

Preferred

• Experience with municipal or government contracts
• Experience with Sage, QuickBooks, or similar construction accounting software
• Knowledge of Florida construction lien law

Pay: $52,000.00 - $56,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person – NO remote
