The University of Texas at Austin is seeking to hire an experienced Construction Administrator II (CA2) to support various construction projects at UT Austin and other UT Austin campuses in support of the Project Manager consistent with Planning, Design and Construction (PDC) department policies and procedures. PDC is actively managing more than $5 billion in major projects across the planning, design and construction phases, and this position is critical for the successful delivery of these projects. Purpose:
To provide skilled, professional quality assurance for construction projects in order to ensure compliance with contract documents and applicable standards. Assignment workload may include both minor projects (< $10M TPC) and/or major projects (> $10M TPC) projects.

This job requires a class "C" operators drivers license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas drivers license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.
Salary Range:
70,000 + depending on qualifications

Employment Eligibility:

Retirement Plan Eligibility:
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.

Compliance:
