Write a sentence about why you want to work at this company i.e. culture, location, benefits, the sizzle, etc. The Construction & Renovation Loan Post-Closing Specialist is responsible for managing post-closing documentation and administrative activities for residential construction and renovation mortgage loans.

Construction & Renovation Post-Closer is responsible for below specific duties.
Your specific duties will include:- Manage post-closing activities for construction and renovation mortgage loans from closing through completion.
- Process and track loan modifications, including preparation, review, execution, recording and system updates.
- Coordinate with title companies to obtain title updates, endorsements and other required documentation.
- Review title updates for liens, encumbrances and other issues that could affect the lender's lien position.
- Obtain and track lien releases, waivers and other documentation related to contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Confirm that the lender's lien position remains properly protected following loan modifications and completion of renovation work.
- Maintain accurate records of all post-closing conditions, outstanding documentation and required follow-up.
- Track construction and renovation loans through final completion and ensure all required documentation is received.
- Coordinate completion documentation, including final inspection reports, completion certifications, certificates of occupancy and other applicable documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding final draws, remaining renovation funds and completion requirements.
Required qualifications for the position include:- 2+ years of residential mortgage experience, preferably in post-closing, closing, loan servicing, construction lending or renovation lending.
- Experience reviewing mortgage loan documents and title documentation.
- Understanding of deeds of trust/mortgages, title policies, endorsements, lien releases and loan modification documents.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or missing documentation.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:- Construction-to-permanent mortgage lending.
- Renovation mortgage products such as FHA 203(k), Client HomeStyle or similar programs.
- Experience with loan modifications.
- Experience working directly with title companies and settlement agents.
Pay Rate Range: $55,000 - $65,000 for salaried positions
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
