Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support their growing pipeline of public projects. The APM will assist in the management of a $50M-$60M, 100,000 sqft public school projects in their Waltham MA Office. Their team operates in a fast-paced yet supportive environment, where employees work directly with ownership and have significant opportunities for career growth.DescriptionThe Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:Assist with subcontractor and supplier buyouts, procurement, and contract management.Support project closeout documentation and ensure all requirements are met.Manage the submittal and RFI processes, ensuring timely responses and approvals.Evaluate RFPs and solicit competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.Oversee owner and subcontractor change orders, tracking costs and approvals.Proactively resolve project-related issues to keep schedules and budgets on track.Monitor and ensure the timely procurement of materials.Work closely with the project management team in a small, collaborative environment with direct access to ownership. No hybrid/remote options available.
