With continued growth and a strong backlog of projects, they are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within the organization.
Description
The Assistant Project Manager will:
- Support Project Managers with the day-to-day management of residential construction projects
- Assist with project scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and vendors
- Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams
- Help manage project documentation, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Track project budgets, invoices, and financial reporting
- Assist in monitoring project progress and identifying potential issues
- Coordinate deliveries and ensure materials are available when needed
- Support Quality Assurance/Quality Control efforts throughout construction
- Attend project meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders
- Assist with project closeout and warranty documentation
Profile
The successful Assistant Project Manager will have:
- Any experience in residential construction, homebuilding, remodeling, or related construction fields
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred but not required
- Internship, field experience, or project coordination experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; construction software experience is a plus
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
