Assistant Superintendent Responsibilities

  • Assist the Superintendent in managing daily construction activities.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Monitor project schedules and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and maintain project documentation.
  • Help resolve field issues and support project execution.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Minimum of two years of experience in a construction trade.
  • Relevant construction experience for Assistant Superintendent positions.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents is an asset.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software is beneficial.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
