Location: This is an on-site position in Houston, Texas, offering the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, clients, and the litigation team in a collaborative office environment.
Note: Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar and should have 4+ years of relevant litigation experience. Construction law or commercial litigation experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description
- Handle a wide range of construction and commercial litigation matters from case development through resolution.
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues and prepare strong legal strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, discovery, and other litigation documents.
- Prepare and respond to written discovery.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal team members.
- Support construction-related transactional matters and commercial project work as needed.
- Manage deadlines, case responsibilities, and significant portions of matters independently.
- Work closely with senior attorneys while continuing to build technical skills and subject-matter experience.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant litigation experience.
- Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and litigation documents.
- Strong legal research, writing, analysis, and advocacy skills.
- Construction law, construction litigation, or commercial litigation experience preferred.
- Deposition, hearing, mediation, arbitration, or trial experience preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and deadline management.
- Strong communication skills, professional judgment, and ability to work well with a team.
