***VETERANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY*** Responsibilities: - Review and verify project documentation, contracts, purchase orders, and billing packages. - Prepare and submit invoices to General Contractors according to contract requirements. - Process and manage AIA billing applications and supporting documentation. - Maintain and reconcile billing reports, schedules, and spreadsheets. - Prepare, review, and track conditional and unconditional lien waivers. - Maintain accurate change order logs and related documentation. - Prepare and update Schedule of Values (SOV). - Work closely with Project Managers and General Contractors to resolve billing issues. - Monitor project billing status to ensure invoices are submitted accurately and on time. - Verify Certificates of Insurance (COIs) are current and included when required. - Process contracts, purchase orders, and change orders. - Support month-end closing and accounting functions. - Assist with collection efforts and account reconciliations. Qualifications: - Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience. - Minimum 2 years of Accounts Receivable and Billing experience. - Minimum 1 years of construction industry billing experience. - Experience with AIA billing. - Knowledge of lien waivers, change orders, and contract billing. - Strong Microsoft Excel skills. - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. - Experience working for a subcontractor or construction company. - Familiarity with GC billing portals. - Knowledge of project accounting and job cost reporting. - Experience with commercial construction projects.
