This role will be responsible for handling all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring timely and accurate processingPerform daily and monthly bank and credit card reconciliationsPrepare and post journal entries and adjustmentsMaintain and reconcile general ledger accountsSupport and execute month-end and year-end closing processesEnsure all financial data is accurate, complete, and complies with GAAPCollaborate with project managers to track costs, billing, and job profitabilityMaintain proper documentation for all accounting transactionsAssist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation as neededUtilize Sage for all accounting functions and reportingQualifications:Minimum 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience , preferably in the construction industryHands-on experience with Sage Intacct is REQUIREDProficiency in MS Excel and general accounting softwareStrong understanding of account reconciliations , AP/AR , and journal entry preparationKnowledge of construction job costing is a plusHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlinesAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredPay $32 to 37$All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
