This hands-on role involves measuring, positioning, and fastening materials in a fast-paced production environment where teamwork, accuracy, and safety are essential to ensure each home section is properly built, aligned, and structurally sound.
Job Duties
Install chipboard (OSB/engineered wood panels) on floor, wall, or roof assemblies according to construction specifications
Measure, cut, and position panels for proper fit and alignment
Secure chipboard using pneumatic nail guns, staples, or other fastening tools
Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and layout instructions
Assist in framing and assembly of modular home sections as part of the production line
Ensure panels are properly aligned, flush, and securely fastened to structural framing
Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures
Lift, carry, and position building materials as needed throughout the shift
Schedule
Shift: 1st Monday through Friday, Saturdays for overtime
Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Pay
$19.00 per hour
