Key Project Requirements:

• 7+ years of civil construction experience, including at least 3 years in a Civil Supervisor, Civil Superintendent, or Civil Field Construction leadership role.
• Experience supporting utility-scale power generation, industrial, energy, or heavy civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, grading, excavation, foundations, underground utilities, structural concrete, and drainage systems.
• Experience overseeing EPC contractors and coordinating civil activities with other construction disciplines.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Field Construction Supervisor to provide field oversight of civil construction activities during the construction of a utility-scale simple-cycle power plant. This position serves as the Owner's field representative for civil construction, monitoring EPC contractor performance, ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with project specifications, and coordinating civil activities with engineering, quality, commissioning, and other construction disciplines to support successful project execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily civil construction activities performed by EPC contractors, including earthwork, grading, excavation, foundations, underground utilities, drainage systems, structural concrete, and site development.
• Verify construction activities are performed in accordance with engineering drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and project schedule requirements.
• Coordinate civil construction interfaces with mechanical, electrical, structural, and commissioning teams to support overall project execution.
• Monitor contractor productivity, work sequencing, manpower, and equipment utilization while identifying potential schedule impacts and recommending corrective actions.
• Participate in field inspections, constructability reviews, punch list activities, and resolution of construction deficiencies.
• Support QA/QC, turnover, and commissioning teams by ensuring civil work is completed and documented in accordance with project requirements.
• Prepare daily field reports and communicate construction progress, safety observations, risks, and recommendations to project management.

Job Requirements:

• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, sequencing, and field execution for utility-scale industrial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, grading plans, survey information, and construction schedules.
• Working knowledge of OSHA construction standards and safe work practices applicable to civil construction activities.
• Experience coordinating EPC contractors, subcontractors, engineering, and project management teams.

Education / Experience:

• 7+ years of civil construction experience supporting utility-scale power generation, industrial, energy, or heavy civil projects.
• Previous experience on simple-cycle, combined-cycle, renewable energy, utility infrastructure, or other large capital construction projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
