Randall Construction Holdings<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> is currently seeking a top-tier<\/span> Construction Controller <\/span><\/b>to work in our <\/span>Apopka, FL<\/span><\/b> Headquarters.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.<\/span> <\/span><\/span>This is a hands-on role that will require you to actively participate in our accounting operations.<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>

Position Summary:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>

<\/p>

To maintain control of all aspects of job costing, reporting, resources, and revenue. <\/span><\/span><\/span>As the Construction Controller, you will have responsibility for overseeing financial statements, invoices, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Additionally, you will be compiling financial reports based on financial statements and implementing policies and procedures for financial reporting.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Essential Functions:<\/span><\/span><\/b>

<\/p>

• Develop and maintain accurate accounting systems, records, and standards.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures for the accounting process.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Manage monthly and year-end closings for multiple divisions/companies.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Manage the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Lead the budget and forecast processes.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Assist with the evaluation of large capital expenditures.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Review and analyze financial results including measurement to goals and objectives.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Work to ensure all revenue-generating jobs are billed on a timely basis.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Utilize financial data and analysis to assist Operations and Senior Management with problem-solving and decision-making processes.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Develop and maintain proper internal controls in accordance with accepted accounting standards.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Perform audits to ensure financial and operational processes are functioning as intended.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Perform special projects, studies, and other duties as assigned by Senior Management.<\/span><\/span>

Desired Qualification Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>:<\/span><\/span><\/b>

<\/p>

• 5+ years of accounting experience at Accountant level or higher with previous Controller experience preferred.<\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/li>

• Bachelor''s degree in accounting or finance preferred.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Strong experience in Commercial Construction Accounting a must.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li>

• Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Strong job cost and general accounting skills.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Critical thinking and analytical skills that reflect the ability to analyze a broad range of issues and provide solutions.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to prepare compelling presentations.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats including individually and in group settings.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft office products, especially Excel.<\/span><\/span>

<\/li>

• Ability to read, write, and speak English (though bilingual English/Spanish a plus).<\/span><\/span>

Physical Requirements:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

<\/span><\/p>

This is primarily an office position and, as such, you must be able <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>to sit up to six or more hours in an eight-hour workday, lift light objects such as files and paperwork frequently during the day, and objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally during the day. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
