Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Construction / Line Coordinator Support professional to join a growing utility team supporting projects in Michigan, Muncie, IN, and Fort Wayne, IN. This position offers a full range of benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and more.
Position Summary
This is primarily an office-based position that supports electric utility construction and line operations. The role works closely with field personnel, contractors, and project teams to coordinate work, track project progress, maintain documentation, and support day-to-day construction activities. While most work is performed in the office, periodic visits to active field and construction sites are required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support electric utility construction and line projects.
- Communicate with field crews, contractors, and internal departments to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Track project progress, update records, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Review project information and assist with work planning and coordination.
- Read, interpret, and analyze project-related data and reports.
- Learn to read and interpret AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) data through company-provided training.
- Conduct occasional visits to field and construction sites to support project activities.
- Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with company procedures.
- Perform additional administrative and project coordination duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous utility industry experience is required.
- Experience working with electric distribution, transmission, or line construction projects is highly preferred.
- Previous experience as a lineworker, line technician, or in utility field operations is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
- Willingness to travel locally to project and construction sites as needed.
- Valid driver's license required.
