About the Role:
As a CBRE | T&T Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the team responsible for onsite project coordination services.
This job is part of the Construction Management function. They are responsible for ensuring all deliverables of construction projects are completed on time.
This role is on-site at our client's campus onsite five days a week in Indianapolis, IN.
What You'll Do:
Manage, plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the workload, deadlines, and day-to-day activities of the support team members to ensure effective delivery of services.
Report to Team Lead required metrics.
Oversee services for the assigned project or client account.
Provide project and administrative support to the Project Management team.
Manage key focus areas including scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk management.
Visit sites or offices as required ensuring the team is assisting within general project management duties.
Ensure that appropriate safety and environmental measures are being implemented and that the construction site is being maintained, clean, and safe.
Assist with the procurement process for all new suppliers and subcontractors requested by the team members.
Set goals and objectives for the team and review progress on a regular basis.
Implement and monitor processes and procedures to ensure that the team is performing efficiently and effectively.
Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives.
Have a direct impact on the team objectives as well as the objectives of related teams.
Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus.
What You'll Need:
High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience.
Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.
In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.
Exceptional math skills. Ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
