Construction Defect Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Defect Attorney to join our growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take on sophisticated construction defect matters while working alongside a collaborative team that values professional development, autonomy, and exceptional client service.

*This role is a 3/2 hybrid with ~1850 billables. Competitive compensation and monthly billable targets*

What You'll Do

• Manage a complex caseload of construction defect litigation from inception through resolution.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, mediations, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Develop litigation strategy and advise clients on risk management and case resolution.
• Work directly with developers, general contractors, subcontractors, insurers, and other construction industry clients.
• Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with a highly respected litigation team.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing with the applicable state bar.
• 7+ years of construction defect litigation experience.
• Strong experience handling complex civil litigation matters independently.
• Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Trial experience is a plus.
