Job Details

We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Legal Assistant to support attorneys and legal teams in a fast‑paced, collaborative law firm environment.

The ideal candidate will provide high‑level administrative and legal support, assist with case and matter management, and help ensure the efficient delivery of exceptional legal services to the firm’s clients.


Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to assigned attorneys and legal professionals
Draft, revise, proofread, and format correspondence, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents
Prepare and file legal documents in accordance with applicable court rules, agency requirements, and internal procedures
Maintain and manage electronic and physical files, calendars, deadlines, and task lists
Assist with matter intake, client communications, and coordination with internal departments
Schedule meetings, depositions, hearings, and travel arrangements
Track deadlines and ensure timely follow‑up on assignments and filings
Process time entries, expense reports, and billing support as needed
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive and proprietary information
Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum of 2–4 years of experience as a legal assistant
Strong working knowledge of legal terminology, document formatting, and filing procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal document management systems
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time‑management skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional demeanor with a commitment to client service and teamwork
Experience supporting attorneys in construction cases
Familiarity with e‑filing systems and court rules
Experience with billing software and timekeeping systems
