Multi -disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Construction Department Manager to their Milwaukee team!

Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>
  • Manage Construction Services Department<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Work directly with clients and contractors<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist with project design<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Manage staff and their assignments<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Mentor/train junior staff<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Serve as project manager on complex projects<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Prepare proposals/contracts<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Monitor progress schedule/shop drawing log<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Review pay requests and verify work is completed<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Travel to job sites as needed<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

     <\/span><\/span>
    <\/p>

    Requirements:<\/span><\/span>
    <\/p>

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction Engineering<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • 12+ years of experience in construction or municipal engineering<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • PE License preferred<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience in construction management of municipal/public improvement projects (water mains, wastewater mains, and roadways)<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience in interpreting plans, specifications, technical procedures and governmental regulations<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Salary is commensurate with experience.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
