We're looking for a DOB Licensed Superintendent to lead retail interior projects across NYC, ensuring smooth execution from kickoff through closeout. Description
- Oversee daily site operations on retail interior fit-outs
- Ensure compliance with NYC DOB regulations, permits, and safety standards
- Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics in fast-paced environments
- Coordinate inspections and maintain strict quality control
- Partner with Project Managers to keep projects on time and on budget
Profile
A successful DOB Superintendent should have:
- Active NYC DOB Superintendent License (required)
- Strong experience running retail projects
- Deep understanding of NYC codes, inspections, and fast-track builds
- Confident, hands-on leader who can manage multiple trades effectively
- Organized, proactive, and solutions-driven on site
