Construction DOB Superintendent (Public) - Brooklyn, NY

We're seeking a DOB Licensed Superintendent to lead a major public construction project in Brooklyn, overseeing field operations on a high-profile expansion project. Description

• • Lead all day-to-day site operations for a major public healthcare construction project
  • Coordinate subcontractors, field staff, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with NYC DOB regulations
  • Maintain project schedules and drive key milestones
  • Oversee quality control, inspections, and project documentation
  • Manage site logistics, safety meetings, and regulatory compliance
  • Work closely with Project Managers and ownership teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining schedule and budget objectives

Profile

A successful DOB Superintendent should have:

• • Active NYC DOB Superintendent License required
  • Proven experience on large-scale NYC public projects valued above $20M
  • Experience with agencies such as NYC Health + Hospitals, DDC, DASNY, DSNY, MTA, or similar public entities
  • Strong building construction background, including renovations, additions, ground-up, or institutional projects
  • Elevator tower, structural steel, healthcare, or hospital experience is highly desirable
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and coordination skills
  • Previous experience working for a General Contractor
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and strict compliance requirements
