Role Focus

Technical drafting and plan accuracy only. No architectural design or conceptual work—this role is all about consistent, production-ready documentation.

Core Responsibilities

• Transform executed sales contracts and approved standards into construction-ready drawings
• Draft and revise floor plans, interior elevations, and site plans following company templates
• Develop and maintain as-builts, lot fits, and community-specific site plans
• Apply redlines from Construction, Engineering, and Field teams accurately and efficiently
• Uphold CAD standards, blocks, and libraries to drive quality and consistency
• Conduct final checks for completeness and compliance before release

Required Experience & Skills

• 2–5 years of AutoCAD drafting in a production environment
• Ability to read and implement redlines, construction documents, and builder standards
• High attention to detail and strong document control habits
• Comfort with deadlines and multi-project workflows
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Clear, collaborative communicator across teams

Technical Proficiencies

• CAD Software (AutoCAD)
• CAD/CAM Software
• Blueprint reading
