What you will do: We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Construction Engineer/Designer on our Construction Services team in our Boston office. This exciting position combines construction management, civil design and client management. The successful candidate will have multiple areas of responsibility. One part of this role includes overseeing and coordinating engineers and inspectors on projects that are in construction. This includes ensuring HSH quality standards are being met, the project specifications and plans are being adhered to and furnishing advice to field personnel to assist them. A candidate should anticipate an approximate 50-50 split between field work and office/remote work on a weekly basis. Occasional night and/or or overnight work is required. This role will engage in activities to support HSH strategic growth goals for the Construction Services group. This includes attendance at industry events and participation in professional industry groups, as well as identifying new geographic areas and/or new construction-related growth areas. This position will be expected to engage with our in-house marketing team to provide content and pursue opportunities. This position is also responsible for managing field-services training and education. HSH expects this group to be at the front of the industry in training and certification such that we can provide our clients with the services they need. Desired skills and Experience:
