Seeking a Construction Engineering Inspector to join the Construction Services team in Columbia, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach!
Responsibilities include
- field inspections, performing complex calculations, verifying dimensions, and examining workmanship for standards
- conducting field testing of materials like earthwork, concrete, and asphalt
- working under supervision of experienced engineers or project managers
Candidates should have strong communication skills, be able to work nights/weekends, and work safely in outdoor construction environments. Physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs and navigating rough terrain is required.
Preferred candidates have 1-15 years of experience, a high school diploma, and a valid SC driver’s license. The role offers a salary range of $40,000-$95,000, with benefits like hybrid work, health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and professional development opportunities.
