Construction Equipment Maintenance Mechanic

Seeking a Construction Equipment Maintenance Mechanic to join our West Chicago, IL office. This key position will facilitate maintenance and repairs of our jobsite equipment at our facility in West Chicago and out in the field.

Duties:

• Day to day maintenance and repairs of electric, diesel, and propane powered equipment and machinery
• Ordering and management of parts and supplies
• Maintain warehouse organization and optimization
• General maintenance as needed and other duties as assigned
• Emergency repairs on jobsite
• Jobsite Equipment pickup and delivery - Driver fill-in during busy season

Requirements:

• Electrical experience (3 phase power) – some knowledge is preferred
• Diesel and gas engine maintenance and minor repairs including:

1. Problem diagnosis and repairs
2. Light Vehicle maintenance
3. Implementation of equipment customizations

• General electro-mechanical repairs – some knowledge is preferred
• Light welding – MIG experience is preferred but not required
• Light machining experience is preferred but not required
