Construction Estimator

Your role as the Estimator is simple to describe and hard to do: win the right work at the right number.

You will take projects from bid invitation through handoff to operations, owning the takeoff, the pricing, and the story behind the number.

We are seeking an Estimator who is precise under deadline pressure and can explain their number in a room full of operators.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing drawings, specs, and bid documents to determine true scope and risk.
• Performing detailed takeoffs and building estimates across labor, material, equipment, and subs.
• Soliciting and leveling subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Maintaining cost databases and production rates so every bid is smarter than the last.
• Attending pre-bids and site walks - the number lives in the field, not the spreadsheet.
• Handing off cleanly to project teams so the estimate survives contact with reality.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years estimating commercial, civil, or MEP work in New England and can point to jobs they won that also made money.

Salary range is $100,000 - $165,000 depending on experience and specialty, plus bonus.
