Description

  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis for commercial design-build projects.
  • Prepare and manage bid packages, ensuring all scopes of work are clearly defined and accounted for.
  • Conduct thorough site visits and pre-bid meetings to assess local conditions and project constraints.
  • Evaluate subcontractor proposals for technical accuracy, compliance, and competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with project managers and design teams to provide value engineering and budget updates throughout the pre-construction phase.

  • You are a detail-oriented professional with 5 to 10 years of experience estimating diverse commercial and industrial projects within the New Jersey market.
  • You possess a strong technical foundation, including a degree in Construction Management or Engineering, and are highly proficient with industry-standard software like On-Screen Takeoff or Bluebeam.
  • Beyond the numbers, you are a strategic thinker who can identify cost-saving opportunities and build reliable, long-term relationships with local subcontractors.
