Construction Estimator (Commercial TI) - Manhattan, NY
Develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed construction estimates for commercial tenant improvement projects. Perform quantity take-offs and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing. Lead RFP and bidding processes, including scope reviews and bid leveling. Analyze drawings, specifications, and design documents for accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with preconstruction, operations, and design teams to support project planning. Contribute to project budgeting, value engineering, and cost analyses. Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and stay updated on Manhattan construction market pricing.

The Successful Applicant
Construction Estimator (Commercial TI) - Manhattan, NY
- 5-10+ years of estimating experience specifically in commercial tenant improvement (TI) or corporate interiors construction.
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and Manhattan subcontractor market pricing.
- Proven ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and project documents with high accuracy.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop detailed, defensible cost estimates.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with preconstruction, project management, and design teams.
- Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple estimates simultaneously.
- High attention to detail, professional judgement, and commitment to quality.
