Estimator Opportunity
Our client is a growing construction organization with a strong presence in Central Ohio and an expanding commercial project pipeline. * Prepare detailed estimates, quantity takeoffs, and pricing from drawings and specifications * Develop competitive bids for Lump Sum, GMP, and Cost Plus projects * Solicit, review, and compare subcontractor and supplier proposals * Participate in constructability reviews, value engineering, and cost-saving initiatives * Work closely with project teams, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout preconstruction * Identify potential cost and scope issues early and help develop solutions before projects move into construction * Support multiple projects while maintaining accurate budgets, pricing, and bid documentation
The successful applicant:
* 4+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience within commercial construction * Experience with commercial, healthcare, data center, PEMB, or similarly complex projects preferred * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred * Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules * Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite * Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills * Someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership of the estimating process
What's on offer:
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 * Bonus opportunity of approximately 10% of base salary * 3-5 weeks PTO based on experience * Hybrid flexibility available for experienced estimators * Opportunity to grow within an expanding preconstruction team * Exposure to high-profile data center, healthcare, and commercial projects
