Job Description
- Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather required project details.
- Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals.
- Monitor and update estimates based on project changes or new information.
- Maintain a database of construction costs and pricing trends for reference.
- Assist in negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
- Support project managers in maintaining budgets and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of estimating experience with a commercial general contractor
- Experience estimating warehouse, distribution center, tilt-wall, industrial, or large commercial projects
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and material pricing
- Proficient with estimating software and quantity takeoff tools
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience managing multiple estimates simultaneously
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience on Amazon, industrial, logistics, fulfillment center, or large warehouse projects is highly desirable
