- Experience in residential construction estimating and/or purchasing preferred
- Custom home construction experience is a strong plus
- Experience using takeoff software is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and related Microsoft products
- Buildertrend experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to read plans and understand construction scopes
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once

Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing project estimates
- Performing material takeoffs using takeoff software
- Requesting, organizing, and comparing subcontractor and vendor pricing
- Assisting with purchasing materials and coordinating lead times
- Reviewing plans, specifications, and scopes of work
- Maintaining accurate budget information and project documentation
- Communicating with subcontractors, vendors, project managers, and office staff
- Tracking pricing, purchase orders, selections, and project-related details
- Helping ensure projects stay organized, efficient, and on budget
Coastal Tide Construction is looking for an experienced Estimator / Purchaser to join our team. We are a custom home contractor specializing in high-end residential construction, renovations, and detailed project execution.
This position will be responsible for assisting with project estimating, purchasing, vendor coordination, proposal reviews, pricing comparisons, and maintaining accurate project budgets.
