Job Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and architects to review project plans and specifications.
• Conduct market research to ensure accurate pricing and cost forecasting.
• Analyze subcontractor bids and negotiate contract terms.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and project budgets.
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules and timelines.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address any project-related concerns.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Estimator should have:

• Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools. Procore a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A degree or relevant certification in construction management or a related field is preferred.
