Construction Estimator - Transmission/Substation
We are looking for a full-time Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in substation construction and maintenance, transmission and distribution, and electrical T&D.
The primary responsibility of this position is to estimate the cost of construction projects. This includes gathering and analyzing data, developing cost models, and preparing bids. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze data to develop cost models
- Prepare bids for construction projects
- Work with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in substation construction and maintenance, transmission and distribution, and electrical T&D
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction estimating software
