We are in search of a Construction Field Manager in the Charleston, SC region for a residential Drywall and Paint company. Field Managers will be provided an opportunity to advance within a fast-growing construction company. The Field Manager is responsible for the scheduling and supervising of all phases from start to finish and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Must be organized and able to coordinate and communicate with a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results.

Your Role as a Construction Field Manager

As a Construction Field Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all phases of residential drywall and paint projects from start to finish. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and effective communication with contractors, crews, and clients.


Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Determine needed resources including manpower, equipment, and materials
  • Plan construction operations and schedule project phases
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget

Team Management

  • Manage contractors and field staff
  • Assign responsibilities and monitor progress
  • Supervise laborers and provide guidance as needed

Quality & Safety Oversight

  • Ensure all work meets company and client standards
  • Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Identify and report any issues or risks promptly

Communication & Execution

  • Coordinate with multiple teams and disciplines
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
  • Ensure efficient workflow from project start to completion

What You Need to Succeed

Qualifications

  • Construction knowledge preferred but not required
  • Project management understanding is a plus
  • Ability to safely perform physical duties, including regularly lifting and moving materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
