Field Superintendent

Konik is partnering with a global engineering and water treatment organization seeking a Field Superintendent to support the construction and installation of industrial water treatment systems. This hands-on position works closely with site leadership to coordinate subcontractors, equipment installations, schedules, safety, and day-to-day construction activities.
This is a strong opportunity for someone with experience in industrial construction, mechanical systems, process piping, utilities, or water/wastewater projects who is ready to continue developing their field leadership and construction management experience.
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily field activities, subcontractors, equipment deliveries, and installations to support project schedules and milestones.
Monitor construction progress, identify field issues or delays, and coordinate solutions with contractors and project leadership.
Review construction drawings, P&IDs, BIM models, and project documentation to verify installations and resolve field discrepancies.
Support site safety and quality requirements while maintaining accurate construction records and progress documentation.
Communicate project status, schedule concerns, and field issues with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in construction supervision, field coordination, installation management, or construction project execution.
Experience with industrial, mechanical, process piping, utility, or water/wastewater construction preferred.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, P&IDs, BIM models, schedules, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, Smartsheet, SharePoint, or similar construction platforms is a plus.
OSHA 30 required; OSHA 510, EIT, CHST, ASP, CSP, HAZWOPER, NFPA 70E, or related certifications are preferred.
Work Environment: On-site at active project locations, 5 days per week, with regular field presence required.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; relevant construction experience will also be considered.
