Construction Field Supervisor
CK Contracting is seeking an experienced Construction Field Supervisor to support our constructionteam.
As a Custom Home Building and Remodeling Company, CK Contracting has been providing top-qualityworkmanship and personalized service to our clients since 2002.
Responsibilities:
- Perform finish carpentry including trim, casing, base, crown, doors, and hardware installation
- Frame and repair minor structural elements
- Hang, tape, mud, and finish drywall to a paint-ready standard
- Perform paint touch-ups, caulking, and finish level surface prep
- Complete light plumbing, tile, and cabinetry adjustments
- Respond to client warranty requests promptly and professionally, coordinating scheduling directly with the client when directed by the PM
- Document all warranty and punch work in JobTread -- before and after photos, notes, and completion status
- Ensure jobsites are swept, organized, and cleaned at the end of every workday
- Verify jobsite protection -- floor protection, dust barriers, surface coverings - is installed and maintained throughout the project
- Manage debris removal and coordinate dumpster or haul-off needs
- Organize and properly store materials on site to prevent damage, weather exposure, or theft
- Pick up and deliver materials, fixtures, and supplies from vendors as directed by the PM
- Document all pickups and submit receipts to the office same day for accurate job costing
- Return unused or incorrect materials to vendors as needed
- Coordinate with the Office Manager on any material tied to an approved JobTread selection - confirm the selection is approved before picking up or installing
- Complete daily job logs in JobTread - photos and progress notes for every active site, every day
- Attend site meetings and client walkthroughs with the PM as needed, taking notes and action items
Qualifications:
- Ability to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
- Experience with Word, Excel, G-Mail, Docu-sign, Social Media Platforms & QuickBooks Online
- Strategic Work - developing and implementing current and future systems and processes
- Designer experience and Chief Architect knowledge a plus
- Organized, well-spoken, and clearly communicate. Ability to Learn
- Knowledge and/or past experience of Residential Construction
- A Positive Can Do Attitude, solution-oriented
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Professionalism in manner and attire.
Compensation:
- $20.00 - $30.00 an hour based on experience
- Health Insurance Stipend as the group health plan went away.
