About Our Client

We are currently partnered with a thriving Concrete contractor in the Birmingham area who are in search of a Foreman to join their home office. The Foreman reports directly tot he General Superintendent and is responsible for managing crews onsight, typically running 1-3 projects at a time.

This is a larger company, but they focus on smaller concrete packages ($1.5M average contract). This allows them to capitalize on margins and reward their employees more often. The company has a reputation for being tight-knit and having a great internal culture. Job Description
  • Lead daily field operations for concrete construction projects, including foundations, pads, and structural projects
  • Supervise, direct, and coordinate crew members and material vendors onsite. This includes carpenters, rod busters, operators, etc.
  • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Monitor job progress, maintain quality control, and uphold project timelines.
  • Enforce safety protocols and company policies across the jobsite.
  • Work closely with General Superintendent and Project Manager to address jobsite challenges and document daily activities.
  • Mentor and develop less experienced crew members

  • Proven knowledge of construction techniques and industry standards.
  • Experience leading crews of 5+
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
