Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Coordinate all daily crew activities to maximize productivity and quality. Ability to understand plans, grade, and specifications of a civil construction site. Experience in operation of loader, blade, excavator, dozer, skid steer, and rollers. Perform work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions or behaviors. Daily coordination with team members, sub-contractors, trucking, and suppliers. Utilization of HCSS Heavy Job to track daily quantities, use of production reports, and daily timecards. Ability to communicate with project managers, estimators, and engineers as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
5 years of experience in construction with emphasis on residential, commercial, and heavy highway civil construction. Valid drivers license, but a CDL is preferred. Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, and be on your feet for long periods of time. Assure all safety procedures are followed. Ability to work flexible shifts, which include days, nights, some weekends. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
